Privacy

Short version: your birth data and results live in your browser. They only reach our servers if you choose to sign in, or buy a written guide.

• All readings are computed on your device.Your name, birth date, time, place, quiz answers, and results are stored in your browser's local storage. Without an account, they are never sent anywhere.
• Optional account (Google sign-in):accounts are entirely optional and the app works fully without one. If you sign in, we store your readings — including birth date, time and place — and any guides you've bought, in Google Firebase, so you can reach them from another device. We receive your email address and name from Google; we never receive your Google password. Your data is readable only by your own signed-in account, enforced by database security rules. Sign out and the browser copy stays as it was. Email us to have your account and everything in it deleted.
• Birthplace lookup: when you search for a city or US ZIP code, that search text is sent to a geocoding service (Open-Meteo / Zippopotam) to find coordinates. Your name and birth date are not included.
• Optional paid guides:if — and only if — you purchase a guide, your computed results (including birth details) are sent to Anthropic's API, the writing service that drafts it, and payment is processed by Stripe. We don't store the guide server-side; it is returned to your browser. Skip the account and the paid guides and nothing ever leaves your device beyond the city lookup above.
• Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregate page-view metrics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no birth data).
• Clearing your data:use your browser's "clear site data" — everything is gone, because everything was only ever there. Consider exporting a backup first from the home screen.
